Based in Southend-on-Sea in Essex we are ideally placed to cover the South and East of England including London. Being a technology based company we perform lots of support and work remotely using the Internet, so location is less important.

Cyberdan Ltd was formed in April 2001 initially as a partnership between Daniel Benwell and Dee Benwell. Daniel ran the IT side of the business and Dee the business and finance aspects. After the first year of trading as a partnership Cyberdan became a limited company.
The company and its staff are committed to providing a worry-free, helpful and professional service to its clients and will always go that extra step.

Daniel Benwell had been working in IT for just over 7 years at the time of forming the partnership having started work in IT in November 1993. Having worked for the local council and a local college Daniel was well placed when he took on 7 further education colleges in 1997. These colleges formed the initial client base for the partnership in 2001. In 1998 Daniel graduated from University whilst studying part time for 4 years (whilst also working) to gain a First Class Honours degree in Computing Science and an Associate classification of the British Computer Society (BCS), a chartered organisation for IT practitioners, followed in 1999. Also in 1999 Daniel achieved Oracle Certified Database Administrator qualifications. In 2004 Daniel's BCS classification was upgraded to member status (MBCS).
Tom Case joined the Cyberdan team in March 2005 as an apprentice following receiving a City & Guilds IT Practitioners Diploma, passing all four units with distinction. During 2006, Tom achieved an NVQ Level 2 in Information Technology and was given a permanent role within the company. In September 2007, he went to work for automotive engineering firm Contechs Consulting where he built on his skills and knowledge and returned to Cyberdan in September 2008, where he is heavily involved in system support, design and development and disaster recovery. Since returning, Tom has also gained Invu Certified Engineer status, gaining an average pass mark of 97% over three units.
Stewart Whatton joined us in May 2006, initially as a new client project manager but in addition to this he now also deals with first-line support and implementation of newly designed bespoke systems and consultancy for existing and new clients. Stewart's 15 years experience in the Electronic Document Management area of Information Technology (mainly with the Xerox Corporation) qualifies him as a valuable resource that can be utilised by both our existing and future clients. Like Tom, Stewart also holds full Invu Certified Engineer status.
Dee Benwell runs the finance and general business development of the company and has provided a non-technical view on some of the IT projects. Dee is about to backup her finance experience with professional accounting qualifications.
